This International Women's Day, we want to spotlight a non-profit we've consistently supported through the Ama OluKai Foundation. The Kapena School of Music and Creative Expression, led by executive director Kalena Parish, was founded to create a community, a place of refuge, and instill confidence in the younger generation. Through Kapena, young individuals can explore their creativity with the tools and support provided. With a goal rooted in giving young girls confidence, Kalenaku has established a safe space for them to realize they can achieve their aspirations and continue striving for their goals.
