  • I truly love the shoes and had them for about two years. The shoes broke at the thong broke on the insertion to the sole. This seems to be a common complaint. I purchased another pair today. The shoe otherwise is in great condition.

  • I have a feeling there are not too many OluKai owners that only own one pair. I just discovered them about a month ago and just purchased my third pair. I’m hooked, no pun intended. I work in the sport fishing industry and was lucky enough to meet these guys in person at our annual trade show in Orlando just by chance. They were a really cool bunch of guys as well. I have already told everyone who will listen how awesome they are. Thank you for ending my life long quest for the perfect flip flops.

  • I am a huge fan of Olukai, I have three pairs of shoes and three pairs of flip flops. Well, let me rephrase that. Now I only have on pair of flip flops. Both pair that are now useless was due to the thong ripping out where it meets the foot bed. The first pair was heavily worn so, I accepted and went out and bought a another pair a year or so ago. Keep in mind I live in Bend, Oregon so much of the year they wait patiently in the closet for our short summers. Fast forward, I spent the last week in Cuba and took my new pair as my go to footwear for the trip. On day two of my seven days the thong ripped out which turned out to be a big issue. Have you ever tried to shop for flip flops in Havana, Cuba? Not cool at all. Seemingly everyone there is size 41 or smaller. 5 hours later I finally found a pair of size 44. They cost me all of 4 dollars and held up beautifully. Go figure.

  • I have peripheral neuropathy so thought that this high end sandal would be great. First time I put them on my toes were uncomfortable from the piece between the toes. Is there a better way to reduce the break in time on this part? Otherwise I will never be able to wear them. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

  • I bought some sandals and spent 120.00. Within 6 months the leather had severally cracked. I have had them for about 2 years now and they still work. I just wish the leather lasted longer! Overall, I’d give the sandal a 8.5 out of 10. Leather crack is the only complaint I have.

  • I have four other pairs of OluKai shoes love them all and I want more. Along with the shoes customer service is wonderful. Now for the Po’Okela, after a couple of months of hard wear they’re broke in and now fit perfect.

  • This was my first pair of Olukai sandals , I knew they were gonna end up being my favorite pair of sandals ever and they were for almost the first year. The upper part of the sandal pulled out from the sole and had these little white strings hanging on for dear life. They fell apart the next day and I was very disappointed that $180 dollar pair of sandals couldn’t make it a year. I had such higher expectations for these sandals and I wished I had saved the receipt but I didn’t because I knew this was gonna be the best pair of sandals I’ve ever purchased.

    • Aloha David! Thank you for your feedback. Your footwear must be defective. We will contact you directly with our warranty details. Mahalo, OluKai Customer Care
